Technology in the Classroom

Soille Hebrew Day is a place where opportunities are almost limitless and the community's sense of hard work and values are clear. Although Hebrew Day has a long history back to 1963, we have a culture of shifting and adjusting to the conditions of contemporary times. Technology is a all-encompassing piece of student learning at Soille.  Recently, our students were given google accounts which allow them to communicate and collaborate more readily with their teachers and peers. Online google classrooms provide immediate feedback and resources for students and parents. The use of digital portfolios encourages students to reflect on their personal growth, and digital calendars allow for organization skills to strengthen. Technology has further reinforced the value of personal contact at Soille Hebrew Day.
